OTTAWA - Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, will visit 12 Canadian cities in four provinces next month in their first trip to Canada as a married couple.
Details of the previously-announced trip were released by the prime minister's office Saturday, which show the couple will be in Canada from Nov .2 to 12.
Charles and Camilla will travel to Newfoundland, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
"The visit by Their Royal Highnesses is a great honour for Canadians," Prime Minister Stephen Harper was quoted as saying in a news release.
"It will allow all of us, particularly young people, an opportunity to learn more about the heritage and traditions of which we are all proud."
The trip is Charles' 15th, but first since 2001. It will be Camilla's first.
The couple will visit the following cities and communities during their 11-day visit: St. John's, Cupids, and Brigus in Newfoundland; Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara-on-the Lake, Petawawa in Ontario, Victoria and Vancouver in B.C., and Gatineau and Montreal in Quebec.
