SHERBROOKE, Que. - Quebec provincial police have found the body of an 82-year-old woman who had been missing since last Friday.

Rejeanne Pelletier-Charette's corpse was found in Sherbrooke, Que., east of Montreal Tuesday night.

The discovery was made just hours after a 16-year-old boy was charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, auto theft and receiving stolen goods.

Quebec provincial police said the teen, who had been arrested in a bar on Monday, was arraigned in youth court.

Pelletier-Charette's damaged car was found in a shopping mall parking lot on Monday.
