3rd suspect sought in Richmond kidnapping attempt
An investigation has been underway since August. RCMP
Police in Richmond, B.C., have released a video and photos of a third suspect linked to the attempted kidnapping of a man and his five-year-old son last August.
The footage, captured in the lobby of the victim's apartment building, shows a man with short, dark hair, a beard and a moustache.
RCMP say the man could have worked with two other men who have already been charged in the case.
Police have credited a passerby for calling 911 on Aug. 11 after spotting what appeared to be four men forcing the father at gunpoint into a car at 3000 block of Corvette Way.
His little boy was allegedly already strapped into a car seat.
Officers quickly tracked the vehicle, freed the father and son, arrested two men and seized a handgun in what they described as a targeted incident but not likely related to gangs.
On Wednesday, police said Ryan Stalker, 27, and Raymond Truong, 19, were the two men arrested.
They have been charged with kidnapping using a firearm, robbery with a firearm and unlawful confinement.
Officers are also looking for one other suspect seen by the witness. Anyone with information is asked to contact Richmond RCMP or Crimestoppers.
