A motorist in medical distress caused about $80,000 worth of damage after he lost control of his car and smashed into a Saskatoon home, police said.
The 55-year-old man was driving in the 3700 block of Diefenbaker Drive at about 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, when he experienced what police described as a medical emergency.
He collided with the home, damaging it and his car, police said.
The driver was taken to Royal University Hospital in stable condition. Police didn't say if anyone in the home was hurt.
The police investigation into the crash is continuing.
