Three charged in Oakville drug bust

Halton police’s Oakville Strategic Support Team (S.S.T.) has made three arrests related to a recent investigation of an alleged drug trafficker operating in the Sixth Line and Upper Middle Road area.

On Thursday (March 14), two men were arrested after they allegedly delivered a quantity of cocaine to a Sixth Line home.

During a search, police say they discovered two men in possession of cocaine, marijuana, a digital scale, three cellphones and $1,100 in cash.

After obtaining a search warrant for the Sixth Line residence, police arrested one man inside the home and allegedly seized approximately 1.5 ounces of cocaine, three quarters of an ounce of cannabis marijuana, two cellphones and drug packaging.

Christopher Atkinson, 23, and Richard Sheridan, 24, both of Toronto, have been charged with trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana — less than 30 grams).

James Crowe, 34, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana — less than 30 grams).

The three men arrested in relation to the investigation were released from police custody after signing both a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking.
