On Oct. 1, protestors took to the streets of New York, setting out to march across the Brooklyn Bridge. They occupied the bridge until police began arresting those on the street. Protesters allege that police had guided them onto the bridge only to arrest them once they got there. More than 700 arrests were made, but most demonstrators were released by the next day, slapped with citations for disorderly conduct.
