Saturday is the last chance for Canadians to send their best to the country's star athletes before they head to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

The Canadian Olympic Team Block Party takes place in Banff and will be hosted by the CBC's George Stroumboulopoulos.

The ceremonies will include former alpine skier and Crazy Canuck Steve Podborski, now Canada's chef de mission for the Winter Olympics.

And it won't just be star athletes making an appearance — Canadian musical stars The Sheepdogs and The Arkells will also be performing.

The party runs from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
